A scheduled job
The Monday rollup, the daily triage, the thing that used to be a calendar reminder. It usually costs the same as a question or less, depending on the model it runs on. When Bob sets it up he suggests the cheapest model that fits the job, and you can change it any time.
A long piece of work
Finding a bug, writing the fix, opening the pull request. That is a real job and it costs more. The receipt says so before the invoice does.

You press Not right? Rerun free under the answer and he does it again on us. You never pay for one of his mistakes. That is the guarantee, not a footnote.
Can this run away and bill me hundreds?
No. You set a monthly ceiling for the workspace and he stops at it. He cannot spend past it, and he tells you in the channel when he is close.
Do unused credits disappear at the end of the month?
They roll over one month, then expire. If you need a burst on top of that, top-up packs are $40 for 20,000 credits and they never expire.
What if my volume changes?
Move it any time from the billing portal. Changes take effect next period, so you never get a strange partial charge in the middle of a month.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes, on Flex and Bring your own keys. Yearly costs ten months of the full monthly price, billed once a year, so two months are free. Bring your own keys is $3,490 a year. Flex is ten times the monthly price at the volume you pick, so $750 a year at 40,000 credits. The half-price launch offer is for monthly plans only, so yearly checkouts do not get it.
Is there a per-seat charge?
No. Add the whole team. Everyone draws from the same pool, and the receipt in the channel shows who asked for what.
What does “bring your own keys” actually change?
You paste your own Anthropic and OpenAI keys into settings. From then on the model spend goes straight to your provider at your rates, and the $349 covers everything else. Runs still use credits at the normal rate, so your balance tracks your own AI bill. The plan includes 1,000,000 credits a month.
Can I leave?
Remove Bob from Slack whenever you like. There is no notice period, and no call to sit through first.
