Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These terms govern your use of HeyBob, operated by Tiny Cloud Ventures (“we,” “us”). By using the product you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].
The service
HeyBob is an AI assistant for Slack and Microsoft Teams that performs tasks you request against the tools you connect. Bob acts on your instructions and, by default, pauses for your approval before performing sensitive external writes.
Your responsibilities
- You’re responsible for the instructions you give Bob and for reviewing the approval prompts before you approve an action.
- You must have the right to connect the tools and data you connect, and to let Bob act on them.
- You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, to abuse or overload it, or to attempt to breach its security or isolation.
- You’re responsible for keeping your workspace and account access secure.
AI output
Bob is an autonomous agent and can make mistakes. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Approval gates and the audit log exist so you can review what Bob does — you are responsible for verifying results before relying on them for important decisions. The service is provided without warranty that output will be error-free.
Plans, credits & billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly. Usage is metered in credits, and every run posts an itemized receipt.
- Unused credits roll over one month, then expire.
- Under BYOK, model tokens are billed directly to you by Anthropic under your own agreement; our platform fee and infrastructure credits are billed by us.
- Trials are time-limited as described at sign-up. Founding-customer terms, where offered, are set out in a separate written agreement.
Self-hosted licenses
For self-hosted (Enterprise) deployments, license terms are set out in your order. Licenses verify offline and degrade gracefully: an expired license stops new runs but does not disable an existing deployment. We publish what the license check transmits.
Availability & changes
This is early-access software. We may change, suspend, or update features, and we’ll give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service during this period.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time; your workspace remains active through the end of the current billing period. You may request export or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
