HeyBob, without Slack.
The HeyBob app gives your team its own place to hand Bob work: a DM with Bob, team channels, and the same approvals and receipts you get in Slack. On Mac, Windows and Linux today, with iPhone and Android on the way.
Rolling out to a team? Get the Windows .msi or the Linux .deb. If Windows says it doesn’t recognize the app, choose More info, then Run anyway. Rather stay in Slack? Add Bob to Slack.
New on Mac: meeting notes.
The app listens on your Mac, so no bot joins your call and there is nothing to connect. It works in a room with no call too. Afterwards Bob writes the notes and does the follow-ups once you tap Do it.
Got an email from HeyBob?
Here is what each one means.
An invite from a teammate
Keep the email. Once the app is installed, open the invite link or type the code, using the same email address the invite went to. Invites last 7 days, and your teammate can send a fresh one.
A sign-in code
Type the six digits into the app. Codes last 10 minutes. If you did not ask for one, you can ignore it.
On your phone?
iPhone and Android are on the way. Tell us which one you use and we will tell you as soon as the app is ready for it.
